Funeral
This piece is a dark comedy. A man lies in his coffin, smiling smugly. Around him stand furious relatives, not mourning—just disappointed. Why?
Because he left nothing. No inheritance. No cash. Just art.

When an artist dies, people expect a legacy—sometimes emotional, sometimes material. But what if the only thing left is a grin?
This piece is a dark comedy. A man lies in his coffin, smiling smugly. Around him stand furious relatives, not mourning—just disappointed. Why?
Because he left nothing. No inheritance. No cash. Just art.
The man, a self-portrait in spirit, believed money was sacred—but only as a tool. He didn’t save. He didn’t invest.
He created.
And that was the true inheritance.
The black, block-like figures around him represent family—or society—expecting reward, but getting only questions. The message is simple: legacy isn't counted in bills, but in impact.
Technique & Materials:
Layered extruded polystyrene, painted with acrylic and resin-based paints. Strong, graphic outlines. A comic-book feel with a punch of existential sarcasm.
Color Palette:
Minimalist and bold: screaming orange background, black sorrow, white contrast. Like a silent film… but the kind that laughs at its own tragedy.
