Everyone carries their own "shadows"—inner voices and thoughts that constantly whisper to us. Each shadow represents a single thought. When multiple shadows are present, we enter a state of indecision. This piece captures that moment: the clash of simultaneous thoughts that blur clarity. It’s up to us to recognize which shadow speaks the loudest—but also to ask whether its decision is truly the right one for us.
The artwork is made from extruded polystyrene. Each cut-out is layered on a matching polystyrene base. The surface is painted with resin-based colors, creating a smooth, refined finish.
The selected tones of grey and dark blue evoke contemplation, introspection, and hesitation. These shades overlap, just like the many thoughts that cloud our minds.
